La Nuit de l'info 2009
"La Nuit de l'info" is a french national event where group of students have to develop a website based on a specific subject in a single night.
In 2009 there were around 600 students in 79 teams, from Bachelor 1 (bac+1) to Master 2 (bac+5).
I joined the "PoileACrepe" team as a PHP/SQL/xHTML/CSS developer and graphics designer.
Our team were really prepared for this event, thanks to our last year experience
We started the night with a long brainstorming then fastly moved to the developing part.
I learned how to use some PHP graphics charts library and improved my PHP/SQL skills.
We've won this night one of 18 challenges : The W3C challenge
Due to an internal error on the Event website, some press book were deleted before jurys examinations.
Our press book for the "Rhénatic" challenge were lost like this but instead of blaming organisation we decided
to propose a new system to avoid this kind of problem for the next Event.
Our reaction were really appreciated and the system will be changed for the 2010 event.
